The Pastry Board at 7 Milne Place and Meat Savvy at 25/204 Warrandyte Road give the shopping trip two clear starting points: bakery and butcher. They are useful names to have before you decide whether to cook from scratch or change course.

Coffee can be part of that outing. This Little Kitchen is at Shop 2/170–172 Warrandyte Road. Slow Lane Coffee offers a different stop: its own website identifies a coffee van at Parkwood Reserve, 35–39 Tortice Drive. Check the current trading session before heading there.

When the plan turns into dinner
