Moonshoes Productions Presents: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Book by Rachel Sheinkin, music and lyrics by William Finn, conception by Rebecca Feldman, and additional material by Jay Reiss. It is based on Feldman's original improvisational play, C-R-E-P-U-S-C-U-L-E, developed by the group The Farm. Moonshoes is proud to present the silliest, goofiest, spell-iest musical there ever was. As a group of hopeful primary school spellers come together for the prestigious 25th annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, hosted by local real estate agent Rona Lisa Peretti and high school vice-principal Douglas Panch, we watch them sing and spell their way through all the trials and tribulations a 10-year-old can possibly imagine.
